2025 - 2026 Tuition & Fees

The CUSM Board of Trustees reviews tuition and fees at least once annually. CUSM-SOM will make every effort to keep student costs to a minimum. All listed fees should be regarded as estimates that are subject to change.

Other Fees: 

Returned Check Fees A $25 fee is assessed for any check returned for non-payment including any check in which payment is stopped. 25
Late Payment of Tuition and Fees A late payment fee of $200 is assessed to students who do not pay by the tuition due date. Students who do not pay by the due date will be withdrawn from CUSM.  200

 

1 Tuition - In and Out of State. Note that these fees may be refundable if a student withdraws within the first seven (7) days of the semester of enrollment. Please refer to CUSM Tuition Refund Policy on our webpage: Tuition Refund Policy 

2 Registration Fee - Per the AMCAS Application and Acceptance Protocols, the initial registration deposit of $100 before matriculation is refundable until April 30 of the application cycle the applicant applied. After April 30th the registration fee is non-refundable fee. 

3 MD General Fee - Non-Refundable. Equipment, Lab, Textbooks/Other learning media, Student association, Orientation, Disability insurance premium, Laptop, or tablet.  

4 MBS General Fee - Non-Refundable. Textbooks/Other learning media, Student association, Orientation, Disability insurance premium, Laptop or Tablet. 

5 Health Insurance - CUSM requires that all matriculated/enrolled students to have health insurance coverage.  Proof of health insurance coverage is mandatory. Purchase of health insurance through CUSM is not required if a student is on his/her parent's health insurance plan or has his/her own plan. All CUSM students will automatically be charged Student Health Insurance. The Student Health Insurance charge will appear on the Fall Tuition Bill. To waive the Student Health Insurance fee the tuition bill, follow the instructions that is provided to you by Registrar/Student Records office. Please contact Registrar/Student Records regarding the health insurance waiver process or status of your waiver. Please note that he health insurance charge will remain on your tuition bill until Registrar/Student Records confirms your ‘approved’ Waiver.
