CUSM monitors student progress during the Master of Biomedical Sciences program and educational outcomes following graduation. The information below summarizes program completion, academic achievement, and progression into medical education.

Student Progress and Completion

Post-Graduation Outcomes

  • 55.7% of MBS graduates matriculated into an MD or DO program within three years

    • Among the Classes of 2019 – 2023, for which the three-year follow-up period is complete, 141 of 253 MBS graduates (55.7%) are known to have matriculated into an MD or DO program within three years of completing the MBS program.

  • 53.2% of known MD/DO matriculants from cohorts 2019 – 2023 matriculated into the CUSM MD program

    • 75 students, representing 29.6% of all MBS graduates from the Classes of 2019 – 2023
